• Cut 10-15 pieces of tape a night for MSNBC’s highest rated primetime show, often assigned with just 

minutes before air, working with precision in an extremely fast paced, high pressure environment

• Assisted producers with archival footage and recent video research

• Assigned video editors projects, providing them with accurate video feed information and time codes

• Communicated with interns, archivists, resource desks and NBC affiliates to acquire more video

• Participated in daily news pitch meetings where the show’s rundown is determined

• Compiled internal news note, highlighting on-brand stories for potential show segments

• Produced 1-2 minute segments, writing scripts and selecting appropriate visual elements

Breaking News Team/The Rachel Maddow Show, MSNBC | New York, NY 

Graphics Production Assistant | August 2012 - September 2014

• Oversaw, coordinated, and ensured the accuracy of 60-90 graphics a night for a live program in a 

fast-paced environment

• Acted as a liaison between the producers and the graphic designers

• Actively participated in a nightly graphics pitch meeting with the senior and executive producers 

• Trained 16 interns and other PAs to help coordinate graphics

• Drafted and produce short, one minute “tease” segments for air 

• Served as a member of the breaking news team, helping secure guests, transcribing press 

conferences and providing host with news updates, in addition to regular graphics responsibilities
