Two-time Emmy award-winning producer and editor with an emphasis on audience-focused visuals. Based in the Bay Area. 

Celeste is a messaging editor at The New York Times, managing app alerts and email messaging for enterprise and breaking news.

They served as a lecturer at UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, teaching a course titled Covering Transgender Topics and a section of the foundational ethics course.


A member of the Transgender Journalist Association and NLGJA, Celeste has a deep interest in journalistic ethics as they pertain to coverage of underrepresented groups.


Celeste is currently a steward with the TimesGuild — the union of editorial workers at The New York Times, affiliated with The NewsGuild of New York.

She loves precise wording, a good pun, and sometimes, a combination of the two.
